Mr. Tabaksblat is Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board. He was appointed by the Minister of Transport on June 28, 1998. His term expires in 2001. Mr. Tabaksblat is Chairman of Reed Elsevier plc and also
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AEGON N.V., Elsevier N.V. and Reed International. He was formerly Chairman and CEO of Unilever N.V.
