We believe standards bodies may commoditize the markets in which we compete and would require that we add incremental features and functions to differentiate our products. If the product design or technology of our competitors were to become an industry standard, our business could be seriously harmed.

 

Employees

 

As of September 30, 2006, we employed a total of 507 people, including 173 in sales, service and marketing, 223 in research and development, 42 in manufacturing operations and 69 in a general and administrative capacity. As of such date, we had 318 employees in the United States, 159 in Israel and 30 in other foreign countries. We also engage a number of temporary employees and consultants. None of our employees is represented by a labor union with respect to his or her employment with us. We have not experienced any work stoppages, and we consider our relations with our employees to be good. Our future success will depend upon our ability to attract and retain qualified personnel. Competition for qualified personnel remains strong, and we may not be successful in retaining our key employees or attracting skilled personnel.

 

Facilities

 

Our corporate headquarters are located at 475 Broadway Street, Redwood City, California. These offices consist of approximately 15,736 square feet. The lease for this property expires in December 2008. We also lease additional office space located at 585 Broadway Street, Redwood City, California. These offices consist of approximately 10,000 square feet. The lease for this property expires in February 2008.

 

In addition to our headquarters, we lease approximately 62,505 square feet of office space in Westborough, Massachusetts under a lease that expires in March 2007 and approximately 30,784 square feet of office space in Tel Aviv, Israel that expires in July 2007. We also lease sales and support offices in Slough, England; Dusseldorf and Rosenheim, Germany; Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, China; Seoul, South Korea; Tokyo, Japan; and Merignac, France.

 

We believe that our existing properties are in good condition and are sufficient and suitable for the conduct of our business. As our existing leases expire and as we continue to expand our operations, we believe that suitable space will be available on commercially reasonable terms.
